Battery Powered Version of Percy the Green Engine
Percy was our Son's favourite train on the Island of Sodor. It seems that he's always involved in the best adventures. He had his gooey mix-up at Mr. Jollys Chocolate Factory and his icy cold run in with scary Jack Frost and finally Percys mishap with with the coal and no wash. No one, not even Sir Topham Hatt, knows where Percy really came from. He's an 0-4-0 Avonside saddle-tank engine who has spent much of his time on Sodor keeping Henry and Gordon in their places.
Percy arrived on Sodor in 1949 and did so well in his first assignment as Tidmouth Pilot that Sir Topham Hatt rewarded him by asking him to help with the building of the new harbour at Knapford. Now his job is to pull the mail car, but sometimes he helps Thomas with the on the branch line and in the yard at Ffarquhar. (or farquar as some spell it)
Learning Curve have been producing the Thomas & Friends Wooden Trains and accessories for a number of years, they are not compatible with Take Along Thomas, Mattel/Fisher Price Take-N-Play Thomas, Tomy Thomas Motor Road and Rail, Trackmaster Thomas, Hornby Thomas, Megabloks Thomas, but are compatible with train sets from Tesco, IKEA, Brio and many other wooden train sets.
The Learning Curve Thomas the Tank Engine range used to come with Character Cards, but this stopped in 2010, the range is most comprehensive out of all the Thomas & Friends Train systems with many destinations from the Island of Sodor and feature many destinations from a lot of the DVD Feature films such as Misty island Rescue, Hero of the Rails, Calling All Engines, Thomas and the Magic Railroad and the 2011 Release Day of the Diesels.
